Our user group exists to foster learning, collaboration, and community around software and technology. This Code of Conduct ensures that all participants feel welcome, respected, and safe.
We believe in learning together, respecting differences, and celebrating progress as a community.
Respect: Treat all members, volunteers, and guests with courtesy and professionalism.
Inclusivity: Encourage participation from people of all backgrounds, identities, and skill levels.
Collaboration: Share knowledge generously and support others’ learning journeys.
Constructive Communication: Debate ideas, not individuals. Criticism should be respectful and focused on content.
Consideration: Volunteers are the backbone of our group. Respect their time, contributions, and boundaries.
Compliance: Follow applicable laws, organizational policies, and venue rules.
Harassment, discrimination, or offensive comments (verbal, written, or online).
Stalking fellow members for a business opportunity.
Excessive self-promotion or solicitation unrelated to group activities.
Intentionally representing your organization as a customer when any part of your organization sells software and/or services to LN customers may result in expulsion from the user group.
Intimidation, threats, or disruptive behavior.
Sharing confidential information without consent.
Any illegal activity or violation of organizational policies.
Reporting: Concerns can be raised confidentially to the leadership team via email or designated contact.
Investigation: Reports will be reviewed promptly and fairly, with respect for privacy.
Consequences: Violations may result in warnings, removal from events, or permanent exclusion from the group.
Participation in the user group implies agreement to abide by this Code of Conduct.
Members make a commitment to uphold these standards during registration and go forward to help create a positive environment.
